This will give A, B etc. section numbers. I do not know about the rest
\setupsection
[section-3]
[bodypartconversion=Character]

I'm bumping my last question here... As Duncan suggested,
\setupsection[section-3][previousnumber=no]
supresses the chapter section numbers in my section headings. Is
there an easy way to do likewise for the figure and equation numbers
such that the numbering does not include the ch

Hi Randall. It's a slightly confusing one - this behaviour is actually
controlled via the \setupsection command, which deals with the
high-level behaviour of sectioning commands like \chapter and
(confusingly!) \section. The setup you wa
behaviour are \setupsectionblock and \setupsection, but neither of these
has a setting for page numbering or headers/footers. Looking through the
sources hasn't helped me either. Can anyone shed any light on the
mechanism for adjusting this behaviour?

Hi,
I have to typeset a document with 5 heading levels.
So I wanted to create a subsubsubsection (section-6).
But it doesn't work.
According to the manual I did it like that:
\definesection[section-6]
\setupsection[section-6][conversion=characters,previousnumber=no]
\definehead[Leve

Hmm, no effect I can see.
I don't remember why I used the \definesection stuff.

Though the following does not yet really work the solution must be looked
for in the following instructions to Context:
