Do you provide them separately?

Did you look in cont-exa?

I'll add the files to cont-tmf.zip as well (in due time the exa content
will move into the main zip; first i need to clean up some mess)

did you try to run textools? should work -)
 texmf-local/scripts/context/ruby
a convenient way to rusn scripts from the tex tree is:
 texmfstart textools.rb
I realized that you added a couple of *.enc files in the latest
cont-tmf.zip. - Are there any actions necessary to have the system
using them?
no, unless you want to typeset german with proper umlauts -) [see type-*

[NTG-context] reference problem

2004-06-19 Thread dr. Hans van der Meer
In the ConTeXt manual (cont-eni.pdf) it says in the chapter on references by way of example:

In this chapter, we can safely use references, without the danger of clashing with references in other chapters. If we have a figure:

\placefigure[here][fig:worldmap]{A map of the \TeX\ world}{...}

In the chapter itself we can refer to this figure with:

\in {figure} [fig:worldmap]

However, if I use this scheme on the following input:

\placefigure[here][fig:exceptionhierarchy]{Sample~exception~hierarchy}%
{\externalfigure[ExceptionHierarchy][scale=800]}

By way of example, \in{figure}[fig:exceptionhierarchy] shows the
hierarchy for ...

The following error trace occurs (TeXShop):

floatblocks: 1 placed
! Undefined control sequence.
\doloop ...ndcsname \recurselevel \let \endofloop
\dodoloop \dodoloop 1

What I am doing wrong? Or has some change in macros taken place?
I am using the following version:
ConTeXt ver: 2004.6.14 fmt: 2004.6.15 int: english mes: english

I would be happy if someone can provide the answer.

Re: [NTG-context] Re: itemize

2004-06-19 Thread Willi Egger
Of course Patrick's answer works. Another aproach is to use the
\setupitemize command. This gives you more control over the spacing
between the symbol and the text.
\setupitemize
[1] %level of itemization
[broad,atnmargin]
[margin=no,
 distance=5em,
 stopper=,
 left=Idea ,
 right=:]
\startitemize[a]
\item Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text
  Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text
  Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text
\item Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text
  Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text
  Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text
\stopitemize
\stoptext
Kind regards
Willi

Thanks for your answer Hans.
You should I applie this to my example?
Same behaviour as with LaTeX and hyperref.sty would be nice.

But anyway, bookmarks are no more placed since latest beta... :(

Thanks, it seems, that I even don't need \flushfootnotes !

Yes, tabulate would have been better for my application, but I need
vertical rules and page-breaking at the same time.

Thank you, Peter

[NTG-context] \hyphenatedfile

2004-06-19 Thread Peter Münster
Hello,

I try to build a macro, that prints special characters as \type and
hyphenates as \hyphenatedfile.
I can use now : and ;, but the characters ?, !, # and \ are still not
working, and spaces are lost. Could someone help please?
Here are my tries:

file env.tex:
\startenvironment env
\useencoding[ffr]
\mainlanguage[fr]
\unprotect
\def\reactivateLostActivations{\catcode`:=\@@active\catcode`;=\@@active}
\appendtoks\reactivateLostActivations\to\everystarttext

\bgroup
  \catcode`;=12 \catcode`?=12 \catcode`!=12
  \gdef\cleanedupSemicolon{;}
  \gdef\cleanedupQuestmark{?}
  \gdef\cleanedupExclamark{!}
  \catcode`\;=\@@active \catcode`?=\@@active \catcode`!=\@@active
  \gdef\protectChars{\let;\cleanedupSemicolon
% \let?\cleanedupQuestmark \let!\cleanedupExclamark % does not work
\protectlabels}
\egroup

\protect

\def\File#1{{\tt\protectChars\hyphenatedfile{#1}}}

%\let\File\typ  % does not work
%\let\File\type % does not work

\stopenvironment

file test.tex:
\environment env
\starttext
bla: bla? bla! bla; bla, this works now.

\hskip10cm
\File{lost space/file with;strange:charac?ters~/ < and > /end!}
% And it would be nice, if I could use the following characters too:
% ?, !, # and \
\stoptext

In fact, I'm looking for something like this:
\documentclass[frenchb]{article}
\usepackage[latin1]{inputenc}
\usepackage{listings,babel}
\lstset{breaklines=true,basicstyle=\ttfamily}
\begin{document}
\hsize8cm\noindent
\lstinline{hööah:aloh/aa?lha llol!loh%lloh#allhal\lohhll;ohohal~loll ohalölo}
\end{document}

Perhaps, it could be possbible to port listings.sty to ConTeXt?

Greetings, Peter
