Thanks all, for your reactions. I tried them all, but the process still stops at the \frac, which I changed now into \frac{1}{40}, whatever I do. The gentium font does not load properly; the file is typeset in Times instead. I get these strange references to gentium instead. Thanks for all advices! I solved the problem, at least partially. I now use \usetypescriptfile[type-gentium] For some reason I have to change the signs in the unnumbered lists.
