Does ntopng 2.2 handle VLANs? I have 1.2.1 (r8128)and had to have the
developers remote in to make it work with VLANs. Will 2.2 handle VLANs right
out of the box?

Ntopng starts when I run '/etc/init.d/ntopng start' but on a reboot it will
not auto-start, instead syslog shows this:

The main reason I use ntopng is to locate local hosts consuming large
amounts of data. I can currently do this but it's very time consuming
pulling up individual 'top hosts' and then select 'History', then over the
last '30 days' etc. Can it be implemented, or is there currently a way to
simply dis
information you mentioned.
ntopng, by default, starts in professional mode and stays in that mode for the
first 10 minutes of execution. This should enable you to test it.

It's probably not exactly what you need, but I suppose that if you need more,
you should start from here, and describe what you would like on github to
request an enhancement/feature here :

Running latest version 2.5.170403
When clicking on the column header title called "Traffic" of the menu
selection Hosts/Hosts, ( and filtering Local Hosts only), it sorts the
output by Traffic totals. Nice. But what are the totals I'm looking at? It

I'm in favor of this. I myself need to see a 30 day report of all hosts, not
just the top 10. Using the Hosts/Hosts report and sorting by Traffic does
not let you select a time period, only "seen since". If I could select a
time period instead, I'd have everything I need to see a 30 day total of al
