I prefer FSLogix as the tool, security wise, but I have had issues in the past occasionally where I have been forced down the Browsium route. To be fair browsium does a lot more - think compatibility for sites that need old IE versions and the like. Feel free to hit me up off list for more

It's typical to have two or more Lync/Skype servers...an Edge server on the perimeter for external access and another internally for the backend. In fact for external access an Edge server is required. It's not typical to have two versions for an extended period. You'd expect to see all the

It is typical that there would be two servers. It is not typical that one would be Lync and the other would be SfB. Sorry that the above wasn't clear. From: listsad...@lists.myitforum.com [mailto:listsad...@lists.myitforum.com] On Behalf Of J- P Sent: Thursday, September 1, 2016 4:41 PM To:

If you want external connectivity you need an edge server. It handles connections outside the enterprise. Internal connectivity is handled by a second server. So yes, two servers is a typical installation (and with Lync 2010 and before, you also had a third server - a mediation server).

There are number of configurations where this could be possible (Lync on the Edge, SfB on the backend, for example), but none of them are ideal and would generally indicate that a migration got stalled or broken in the middle. I would ask that question. Doing a DR on a broken config is

You could also use something like Citrix Secure Browser or even the likes of Numecent Cloudpaging to achieve this, but it would rely on specific shortcuts for the "older version" sites - FSLogix and Browsium can intercept and redirect links and other entry points too. From:
