Might be a good chance to get up to speed on TS. We have a TS 2008 farm here, but I'm moving those servers to XenApp. It worked fine, although I had some issues with wildcard certificates. I think that was an issue with the version and is not presented in 2008 R2 from what I understand. Use

I'd go with the TS/RD Gateway option. It is very very easy to configure and just works imo. TS/RD Gateway can be configured to allow members of security groups to only be able to rdp to certain machines etc. We don't allow any VPN access as it just isn't necessary. From: David Lum
