It depends. There are 2 parts to DFS- the DFS namespace and DHS Replication. You can use the namespace without doing replication, but you can do replication without the namespace. I use the DFS namespace on all shares so that when I replace a file server, all of the links to it will still

Thanks for the help. The problem apparently was caused because I had my email client open. As soon as I closed it, when I clicked on the link, it opened my email client and worked just fine. I don't understand why that should have caused the problem. I'll do some research to see what was going
