You can do the same thing with Keylight but I find with better results.
In shake I used to set it to replace but as nuke doesn't have this option I
set it to Composite and feed in a 0.5 constant into the BG.
Cheers

Hi All,
After purchase of Nuke 6.4v2 we were trying to render the mov's and sequences
over the network using Royal Render 6.x. We found out, the mov's failed to
render, at least, that's what the Royal Render indicated. The render succeeded,
but there was an application crash. More visible in
Hi,
I need to render multiple write nodes. I'd like to render those
sequentially rather than simultaneously. I've specified the render order
in each write, but that has no effect. I'm using the 'render selected'
command in the Render menu.
I have not found information for this in the user

wow - thats a good tip - what on earth could postage stamps have to do with
render order and is that a bug or a feature? It wouldn't ever have occurred to
me to try turning them off to debug a problem like this.
Good to know, thanks-

You can select the A keyframe, right click it and choose edit - move, and
type the number of frame to go to. A bit long winded, but works.

Keyframes can't cross each other in the curve editor or dope sheet.
The only way is to copy/paste them.

I was doing it in the viewer. Your right it doesn't work in the dopesheet.
Also the move option you brought up does work in the right click menu
but doesn't seem to work with the move button at the bottom of the

Actually, I couldn't manage to paste a keyframe in the Dope Sheet in a new
location. If anybody knows how I'll appreciate knowing.

It does through the right click menu. I just tried it.

probably worth a mention - to quickly disable all postage stamps in
the gui - ctrl+a followed by an alt+p
or you can launch with the -n flag for no postage stamps I think

Hi all,
I have used input.width, input.height, and [exists parent.input] in many
Gizmos/Groups without issue. Recently, I made a Group that detects the
incoming resolution and uses that to enable/disable the desired Write node.
In simple cases, it works fine. However, once the comps got a bit

If you can, try using root.format.h and root.format.w instead of
input.width and input.height. Either that or use something like a
format knob linked to a reformat inside the gizmo/group.
The trouble is that using input means nuke has to query the bounding
box of everything upstream on the tree
No, the right click viewer copy/paste is only copying from the frame
you are currently on.
