Hi there,
a fellow student is trying to convert old photographys into stereo comps.
we couldnot find a way to first displace the different image planes
and then project the image onto it.
is there a way?
cheers,
vincent
This
sigraph starts next week, so only someone in betatesting could give you

Because of the nature of depth AOVs, they cannot be reliably antialiased, hence
the edges you see. You can usually clean them up with a coverage pass (if you
can get one).

- go to the nuke temp folder:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp\nuke
- delete all files
- reload nuke (might take a while to cache all your plugins)
this worked for me.

I can't seem to figure this out. I have a switch node that has multiple
inputs. I want to create a gizmo that has a drop down of (A, B, C, D, E, F)
and I want to link those inputs to inputs (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
So when you use the drop down to select B, it will automatically switch to
input 2 on
Assuming the Switch is inside the Gizmo, if your pulldown knob is named
'my_pulldown', just set your switch expression to:
parent.my_pulldown
Note that pulldown knob (and switch) indices are 0-based, so 'A' in your
pulldown list will actually correspond to input 0 of the switch. If you want to
I know, right? Aren't the students paying him enough already?

A solution is to render your images at a minimum 4x resolution, do the zmerge
and resize the result.
After all that's what the renderer is doing internally.
