Am I doing something wrong, or does the "volumetric composition"
checkbox in the DeepToImage not work?
The following nodes should have an image containing a constant grey
sample with deep.front 0.4 and deep.back 0.6. The colorwheel is at 0.5
(deep.front and back are equal)

So I can cache the timeline to RAM, and play back fine using the "k" key,
everything smooth. As soon as I stop playback and try to scrub with the
mouse pointer, the timeline acts as if nothing is cached and everything is
really slow. Timeline green-bar is still there.
Any ideas?

Use a transform for a look - wether neutral grade or whatever - that you fully
reverse back out for finals - always viewing whilst comping through a display
node - dependent upon your intended display space - dci , Rec etc

Hmm. I don't think I understand either :). How would you use the
OCIOdisplay then? Wouldn't you have to register each lut you want in you
init (nuke.viewerProcess.register )?
Are you maybe talking about using the OCIODisplay node as an InputProcess?
