Hi Adam -
I don't think the fundamental stereo workflow has changed dramatically
since we introduced it, so your best bet is probably digging back to older
videos. We did a "masterclass" event that had two major sections, one on
shooting and another on working with the footage in Nuke. Check out
@adam - Bet you're thinking of the MindRead node? It's still there as of
10.0v6.

Just a guess, but I wouldn't be surprised if these key on luminance to
apply the effect, which wouldn't translate into a LUT.

You could just add your user-specific locations to NUKE_PATH as something
like /path/to/user/nuke/stuff/$USER.

Looks like it's right on the border between non-gui and gui startup.
Can you run a command line render, no gui? If so, then maybe it's something
graphics/UI related. Graphics card drivers all good?

Admittedly I'm biased, and a combo with Adobe would have some great
potential, but overall an independent Foundry sure seems better. There's
been more than enough consolidation already.

The linear is the original 32 bit int linear that was originally available
from the SDK. This does has some scale to get the output values between 0 and 1
rather than lots of highlights getting clamped at 1 and losing all the detail.
As far as I know the values do increment linearly, ie there
the
details.
