Realised after that these were converted movs so I had lost the raw.
However we had got different results in 6.2 on windoze over 6.3 on mac.

You can try unchecking the 'crop' option in the project 3d and see if
that fix's it. Also if you had any roto/rotopaints set to 'clip to
format' instead change them to no clip for that particular patch. If
