[Nuke-users] Setting default range values in the ColorCorrect node

2015-06-01 Thread Sean Falcon
Hi, Does anyone know how to set some default values for the curves in the Range tab of a ColorCorrect mode? Specifically the highlights, since they never live in the 0.5-1.0 range that the node defaults to. Thanks, Sean ___ Nuke-users mailing

this by CTRL+Clicking the down-stream Node and all upstream Nodes will be selected and highlighted. With my [tentative] fix the Nodes aren't selected, but the input arrows are shown/highlighted. F. On 14 April 2015 at 05:42, Sean Falcon vfxco...@gmail.com wrote: Gah! Thanks Frank. On Apr 13

[Nuke-users] PostageStamps - not moving upstream inputs

2015-04-08 Thread Sean Falcon
Hi, When you hold control and move a node, it moves the upstream nodes as well. Very helpful. However, if you have PostageStamps in that tree, it moves the PostageStamps and their inputs as well. Does anyone know if it's possible to only move the PostageStamp and not it's input? Thanks,

Re: [Nuke-users] MacPro upgrade?

2014-11-07 Thread Sean Falcon
Aside from the Mac Pro, has anyone out there tried using the new retina iMacs yet? The MacBook Pro retina does pretty well with most things (aside from some struggling with some of the heavier 3d scenes). It'd be really great to have something a little bigger than a 15 screen to work on. Any

Hey Ari, How's NY? I don't think there is a specific command (probably scriptable), but if you cut and paste the backdrops it reorders their 'z' in the DAG. So make your master backdrop and then cut and paste the smaller ones on top. -Sean On Feb 6, 2014, at 9:49 AM, Ari Rubenstein

Hi all, I have a 3d scene in nuke with 4 identical cameras. I'm trying to set the near and far clips on each camera to render out different slices of the scene (e.g. If my scene is 40 units deep, then each cam would render 10 units). Only the near clip seems to be doing the clipping, whereas

[Nuke-users] Changing random frequency in particleExpression node

2012-12-13 Thread Sean Falcon
So I've been beating my head against the wall on this. I'm putting a random expression into a ParticleExpression node, but cannot figure out how to change its frequency. random(x/5) or any permutation of that returns an error and something like (random * (frame/5)) affects intensity. Sin
