apcupsd does not require any desktop-like software.

The server we are using is headless, I can’t install a desktop software
unfortunately.
That’s why I am trying to find a driver for NUT on OpenMediaVault.

Try installing and using apcupsd. Does it work correctly with the
BX700UI? Which protocol is it using?

I had a look on the website, but I can¹t see a detailed list of supported
units.

The model number is BX700UI.

I meant the « APC UPS Daemon » at http://www.apcupsd.org/

Does this support your UPS unit? If so, what protocol is it using?

What is the model number of your unit? BX650CI ?

Hi Roger,
Thank you for your advise. I tried

driver = apcupsd
port = auto

But unfortunately I get the same error message ³Failed to execute command
Œupsc 'ups' 2>&1': Error: Driver not connected"

As I am not very good in using OMV, maybe there is something else I should
do? Thanks

Best regards

Does this make sense in a mail sent to a public mailing list? Am I
