Regarding wider community, I go to the Manchester R meetups fairly
regularly and they are generally attended by those, if not from Health or
Academia, then certainly with people with a thirst for good datasets.

I have a good overview of venues as I run an annual conference. Are you
planning to hold it on the weekend? If so Universities have good space.

Go meetups when we have meetings), but careful of heat. The space becomes hot,
and with 100 people you might need to talk to them about adequate cooling.
