All seen from Alice Austin House in Staten Island. This looks out onto NY harbor. Summary of birds seen during the day: 3 pomarine jaeger Minimum of 11 parasitic jaegers. 11 were seen at once. Many more were seen but some were reluctant to fly under the bridge and were circling. Not sure how

John Ascher and I checked out the Verrazano Narrows from the Brooklyn side. The best bird was a single Royal Tern seen from the Bay Parkway Mall. 30 plus Gannets were in the Narrows, some ranging north of the bridge. Good numbers of Laughing Gulls plus a few Boneparte's Gulls and Common Terns
