Tom Dulski and I spent several hours birding the perimeter of the Riis park golf course. It was loaded with sparrows of all of the expected varieties. Among them were 2 Vesper Sparrows and 2 Clay-colored Sparrows. Funny but the fields at Fort Tilden held very few birds compared to the golf
