I was just informed that the Sora is still present in the Loch, visible when
viewed from the rocky overlook between the two rustic bridges. The bird is
south of the waterfall and westernmost bridge.
As others have noted on previous days, its left wing appears to be injured.

(female or immature), from those who got a good look at the tail
spread.
Thanks to Nadir Souirgi who first reported the bird on Oct 31st; I
believe it's been seen every day since then ( tho not reported to the
state list).

Unfortunately, no camera with me (took a minor fall over the weekend so am
taking it easy for a few more days), but now that the word is out,
hopefully others with big lenses can find and document this bird. I did
not get a good look at the spread tail.

A female-type Blue Grosbeak has been present in the Wildflower Meadow
for the past hour. Check the western edge of the main fenced in area
of the meadow as well as the path along the west side by the Loch
(where one hung out for a few days last fall).

Just heard from Tom Perlman that he and John Wittenberg are looking at
the "rufous" Ruff. It was found by Mike Stewart this morning and is
on the north end of the East Pond, about 100yds south of the north
island, on the east side.
