In the past 45 min., I have checked both the Scott's Corners Golf
Course as well as the original spot on River Road where the bird was first
found. At this time I have not located the bird but will continue to check
likely local locations. For those slightly north, Blue Chip

At 7:00 a.m. Caracara continues along entrance road (Roswin Lane) to Scott's
Corner Golf Course on Route 208 in Montgomery NY.

Caracara is sitting in a tree on the side of the road at Scotts Corners Golf
Course in Montgomery. It was feeding on the possum when we arrived.

access off young ave.

The report from Montgomery is that the Caracara has not been seen at the farm
location but has been reported near the intersection of Rts 17K & 208.
A caravan of birders ID headed over to there to try their luck.

I just saw 2 pictures from a South Shore Audubon member, asking for id help.
The pictures were taken around Jan. 22, 2015 in Seaford, NY. The bird was
sitting on a fence and the flying. It is a Caracara.
