The Jones Beach Red Phalarope flew into the "pool" by the blind west of the Nature Center parking lot around 11 AM today. Ken McDermott, Steve Schuyler, Ardith Bondi, Bob O'Neil and I all had great looks as the bird rested on the flats before taking off. There is no water in any of the pools
