Hi all, This morning, I checked the West End of Jones Beach, focusing on the Coast Guard Station and Median. There was a good variety of songbirds, including my first Golden-crowned Kinglets and Dark-eyed Junco of the fall. The highlight though, was a single *Summer Tanager *that briefly appeared

Good movement overnight, with an influx of later-season migrants this morning. On my twice-weekly Bryant Park walk (free, Mondays 8-9am & Thursdays 5-6pm) we spotted some nice diversity in an hour, mostly around the central lawn area. I suspect there were many birds we missed, especially in the
