NYbirders,
There has been a cooperative juvenile Thayer's Gull in Ithaca since Saturday
(7 Nov); presumably the same bird was seen on Friday almost 20 miles north
of Ithaca on Cayuga Lake. The bird has been seen at Stewart Park (where it
roosts), the docks at Treman Marine State Park, and the Corn
Posted on Genesee Birds only but worthy of wider dissemination. A few
Cave Swallows were reported from CT and NJ in late Oct, but I'm not
aware of any being reported from coastal sites today or over the
weekend. Suspect they are following an arc and will perhaps filter
east and/or south during the
