The previously reported Coxsackie Grasslands Say's Phoebe was not refound
yesterday nor this morning.
There's plenty of happy habitat for phoebes in the area, so the bird could

A fairly slow day today at Smith Point with the exception of hundreds of
northern gannets plunge diving in close proximity to the shore. Red-throated
loons were also of note. The 15 ruddy ducks were in their usual location near
the new fishing pier.

The Red-necked Grebe found yesterday by Karen Rubenstein continues at the
end of Albert's Landing Road. The bird was close in mixing with Common Loons
and Scoters. Best views were to the right of the weir.
Good Birding,

Tom Burke and Gail Benson just re-found the Western Kingbird along the fence
line heading towards the Silver Gull Club at Breezy Point. The bird was last
seen flying into the field/parking lot of the club. The good news, is that
it's still here. Good luck if you go.
Good and responsible
Just had a Western Kingbird right at the entrance to the 4 wheel drive trail
near the fisherman's parking lot at Breezy Point. Unfortunately, the bird took
off heading South East and seemed to be dropping near the houses. Hopefully it
could be relocated.
Good and responsible birding!
