This afternoon in the rain, there was a juvenile Glaucous Gull on the water
just offshore a couple of hundred yards east of the Fisherman's Parking Lot at
Fort Tilden.
Various wet fields around southern Brooklyn (especially the Marine Park Golf
Course, and the Marine Park Ballfields) hosted over
Sure is a Troupial and a gorgeous one at that. I guess it escaped from
someone's house.

The Yellow-breasted Chat continues at Bryant Park. It was seen before 2pm
on the east side of the library nearer 42nd St. in the bushes & lawn that
border 5th Ave. This bird has been seen on both sides of the library &
possibly in other green spaces in the area.
Also seen: 1 Ovenbird in the extrem
Had a first winter GLAUCOUS GULL while fishing off Breezy Point this
morning (no more than a half mile off). There is a large flock of gulls
(mostly Ring-billed, Bonapartes and Herring but with a few Laughing and
GBBGs in the mix) working over Striped Bass that are feeding on Herring sp.

The RED-NECK GREBE previously reported on Nov. 18 continued at Old Field point
this morning.
Between 8:30 and 9:30 there was a relatively impressive RED-THROATED LOON
