Hey all, My Piping Plover crew leader told me of a potential Wilson's Plover in the impoundments at Shirley Marina County Park from a walk last night with her dog in the area, and it was verified today by another fellow birder. I believe you are supposed to have a permit (~$15 for the season)

I don't think I saw this posted by any of our NY eBird reviewers as yet. Cornell has posted new guidelines on embedding photos in eBird checklists using Flickr. This is to keep up with changes recently implemented by Flickr. Here is a link that describes the changes -
