There is a Red-headed Woodpecker that is very easy to find because it is
enjoying street trees. It has been reported in the area (near Forest Park) for
the past few days.
Park near: 129 Audley St, Kew Gardens, NY 11418. It was flying from tree to
tree along Audley St on both sides of Abingdo

The Smithtown Count was held on Friday, December 27 amidst cloudy, calm, mild
conditions with daytime temperatures in the low 50's. We tallied 106 species
that included the following highlights:
