Many migrants this morning (still) at marshlands conservancy in Rye- female
Cerulean, wormeating,Hooded, E Wood-pewee (!),2 Swainson’s Thrush, many others-

2 Red-necked Grebes just S of Montrose Pt. at Georges Is. County Park in
Montrose, Westchester Co., yesterday (2/26) evening. Keep an eye out for more
on the Hudson and anywhere else that may have larger areas of open water, as
there may be more of them displaced by the Great Lakes icing over.

(1/25) at Deans’s Bridge, Somers, was an
immense surprise. The bird was later
observed on a rock in the middle of the reservoir looking north from the bridge
where rt. 116 crosses Muscoot Res. in Purdy’s, and some bad digiscoped photos

After not showing up for about a week, continuing Brown Thrasher appeared again

An afternoon trip today (12/11) to the Lenoir Preserve in Yonkers produced
the continuing Rufous Hummingbird coming to a feeder in the butterfly garden,
and a drab Pine Warbler coming to the seed feeders next to the Nature center.

After having killer views of 2 adult Golden Eagles yesterday outside of Walton,
Jane DeWitt and I had a 1st year Golden Eagle today (11/13) go over the Dewitt
farm in Delhi (Delaware co.), along with 3 Bald Eagles and a harrier.

(11/12) soaring together fairly low over rt. 10 just east of the hamlet of
Walton (Delaware co.), after having spent several hours yesterday at the
Franklin Mt. hawkwatch without seeing a one.

location.
