now in hunts point is showing signs of its second cycle.it moves between the
roofs and parking lots of the hunts point market and new Fulton fish

towards the Pepsi and Cablevision facility's.anywere from soundview park to

There's currently one cattle Egret with some Canada's at the entrance to the
parking lot parallel to the toll booths at west end 2 now.i believe it's there

parking lot in bronx county.parking 8 dollars.if you park outside along the lot
you will be moved or ticketed by pep officers or nypd.very cooperative juvenile

Yesterday I found a juvenile bairds sandpiper around noon at orchard beach
parking lot in pehlam bay park.the bird was subsequently viewed by others
yesterday into early evening.the bairds is currently in the orchard beach
parking lot.parkings 8 bucks,but along the outside perimeter you can park

I found 2 glossy ibis with a greater yellowleg earlier this afternoon in pehlam
bay park's turtle cove.rare for the bronx.birds are on the cove now in low

Currently there are 15 common merghansers on van coutland lake now.these aren't
necessarily rare but are uncommon in the boro,seen in limited numbers.some

My friend Bobby just called me and said he had the brown pelican off two tree
island in pehlam bay park.he doesn't ebird or subscribe to the listserve so im

Currently I briefly had a sora in view in pehlam bay park.somewhat of a rarity
for bronx county.i'm posting in case anyone would like to try to get it for

At a little after noon today while checking the orchard beach parking lot I
came upon a small group of shorebirds consisting of semipalmated sandpipers,2
dunlin and one red phalarope.i was able to get a nice photo of the back and

Just had at least 4 blue-winged teals with 12 green-winged teals by turtle
cove's eastchester bay side in pehlam bay park.in case anyone is around while

Both avocets are on the south end of the east pond.3 redheads(2 drakes 1 hen)

Currently in pehlam bay parks south zone off the landfill are many
species.migrant's included so far at least one clay-colored sparrow seen with a
Lincoln sparrow.this on top of last night's white-crowned sparrow.many warblers

The refill of Jerome park reservoir is underway.Only a handful of shorebirds
remain still as the waterline steadily rises,a both yellowlegs,a solitary
sandpiper and a few peeps.no wilsons phalaropes or other rare birds that I can
see,but the ducks that are hear love it.
The shorebirds that were flushed by the peregrine earlier are making there
return.the Wilson's are on the resevior now.

As I was scanning the mud flats at the lagoon in pehlam bay park I happened to
come across one stilt sandpiper.the bird is left side of the rocks immediately
