I purchased my Kowa scope and Manfrotto tripod many years ago from CMBO. While they did not have the lowest price, they did allow you to actually try out the scopes, and they were more knowledgeable than B regarding scopes for BIRDING. You are also supporting a great organization by purchasing

B are indeed good - but bear in mind that by giving them your money you're supporting some pretty horrendous discrimination practices. They're being sued again by the feds right now:

The key to getting awesome help in Optics at the B store is "Bob". If you get anyone else you'll be disappointed, but Bob has been there for years and is a godsend. He is extremely knowledgeable, ethical, helpful and personable. I couldn't recommend him more highly. Amy Simmons Sent via
