Highlights: Windy conditions made it difficult to find many of the smaller
birds. An Orange-crowned Warbler at the Grassy Knoll/Sparrow Ridge was one
exception. Raptors included Turkey Vulture, Peregrine Fa
4 american golden plovers and one semipalmated sandpiper in the swell off the
west end 2 parking lot.soorry for being late the initial one was send back.

Today, I freed up by noon, and headed out toward Orient Point County Park
to try to find the Snowy Owl found by John Sep earlier this week. With the
advent of a C.Raven in flight over the intersection of Northville Turnpike
& Route 105 before leaving Riverhead, my hopes were high for viewing *Bubo
