Today while golfing at Bellport Country Club,I saw two cattle egrets foraging on the 15th hole ,which borders on Bellport Bay. BCC is a private golf course so any viewing should be first approved at the pro shop,or you can work the adjacent shorelines. thanks Lee Stocker -- NYSbirds-L List

At least several dozen birders got to see the HARRIS'S SPARROW at the south end of the Central Park North Meadow, just west of the handball courts, this afternoon. The finder was Elizabeth Paredes, who quickly passed on the info to her husband John Anturi (@jhonny_2003 on Twitter), a frequent

The seed sale today was certainly enhanced by the delightful weather, as well as by the Bald Eagle that flew over the refuge's "Old Ice Pond" ! After the sale ended at 1430, I took a ride down to the beach, birding Dune Road from the Post Ave Bridge to Shinnicock Inlet. Highlights included: 3
