The flock of 800 Canada Geese began lifting off from the significant open water around 9:45 this morning. The Barnacle Goose was on the extreme western shore at the far edge of the flock. Four Greater White-fronted Geese were tucked up in the cove (inlet?) at the north east corner of the lake.
