Hi Andrew, thanks for reporting this problem. We didn't notice this problem because oak-core has an explicit dependency on junit with scope 'test'. It turns out oak-core doesn't even need a compile time dependency on json-simple. See: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-3636 Regards
