I got this at 19:50, after a most enjoyable ride. The eight of us (no
way or wrong way James not leading), had a great 26k ride around the
airport. I do not think anyone got wet, the only incident occured at
17:00 when Sir James was not there to lead his troops into (actually
with) the wind. I
The idea could work in Ottawa, but those living in the west
might think twice about riding to a start point in Orleans, and vice
versa. A single, more southerly start point also makes a lot of
sense, however.
Good point, the park and ride in the south has great big lot, as for
points west
Just out of curiosity who made the call to go to the Civic hospital. The incident
occured right in front of the Monfort, which I think is still a fully functioning
hospital. BTW, I witnessed an accident in front of the hospital and fire, police and
ambulance came to take him the 100 meters
Sunset was at around 7:12 PM on Tuesday (7:08 today, Thursday) and the
criterium must run until 7 or 7:30 PM. Regarding these recent accidents,
whether a rider is wrong or right doesn't matter much to you when you die or

was talking to the young person who has taken over the Ottawa school board teaching
position from Bruce Timmermans. He has said if there is enough interest he will
approach the board and do a wheel building
