Works fine for me on Ubuntu 10.10 -- greatly appreciated as I was unsuccessful compiling 3.4.x from source (mostly, I'm sure, because I don't really know what I'm doing -- I could never get to the end of the dependencies). My only problem so far has nothing to do with installation -- I need fminbn
