Thanks guys for all these suggestions. Electromagnetic problems as such
are not in the first problems set we would like to play with, but the
modular structure of GetFem should make it work quite easily. I'll have
a look and keep you posted.

Hi everybody
I have noticed that for some reason the ann package does not appear on
the list of octave-forge packages [1] but is on our servers [2]. I
tried to install the package myself to regenerate the documentation
but install fails with a bunch of errors and warnings about deprecated
syntax.

Good news everyone!
I'm pleased to announce that Octave will be mentoring three students
this summer under the Google Summer of Code programme.
Max Dawid (fisheater in #octave) will be primarily mentored by jwe on
implementing JIT compiling for Octave, which should considerably speed

Hi,
I attach a patch which is applied against the (upcoming) Debian release
2.5.5-2 of octave-nan.
It fixes a compilation error on GNU/Hurd (see [1]).
Please consider it for inclusion in the next release of the nan package.

Hi
I'd like to remove the physicalconstants package. It only has a single
function that returns the constant that is requested. Any suggestion
on where to move it?
