[OM Cooker] MP3 patents expired

Hi, as you may heve noticed a MP3 patents expired with start of 2017. This means we may enable MP3 support in our "main" repository. For example: move lame package from restricted to main repository enable MP3 support in gstreamer etc. Anyone want to help with the task ?

Hi, looks like it is a good time to switch to pkgconf and replace ancient pkg-config, right ? What are the benefits ? Barely none for luser :) In theory it should have a positive impact on building packages, by building better optimized chain of dependecies when linking i.e. pkg-conf: $ldflags

I spent yesterday quite a lot of time on this. Finally I found that "env" output does not contain variables all the variables which lives in systemd session. env differs with systemd --user show - environment This means PAM configuration is broken and pay systemd.so may be missing or wrongly set
