[onap-discuss] Regarding Tosca parsing of Overlay/Underlay templates for VoLTE use case

2018-02-27 Thread Singh Kalra, Mandeep
Hi,

  I can see from the SDNC network-topology-operation RPC that it requires
some tosca inputs.
  I need to know which layer parses the tosca template declared in SDC and
fetch parameters ?

Mandeep

Re: [onap-discuss] MSB upgrade

2018-02-27 Thread Pavithra R13
Hi Zhao

I am able to access ESR via MSB port , but the vnfm and vim is not getting
registered. I could see “Bad Gateway Error” during registration. PFA screenshot
for the error in log.

Lizi/Zhao,

We would like to reinstall only MSB without disturbing the other services. In
that case will already installed services be registered in MSB automatically,
or it will require manual registration with MSB.

Hi Pavithra, Lizi,

We don't have to manually unregister and register services in OOM/k8s
deployment. Kube2msb is watching the k8s deployment change events and
automatically register/unregister services to MSB.

Are you able to access ESR via the node port of MSB? Such as

Hi Pavithra R,

You can just delete the register information from msb portal, and re-register
the service to MSB. Please refer to the curl commond in
https://gerrit.onap.org/r/gitweb?p=demo.git;a=blob;f=boot/msb_vm_init.sh;h=0a087b04bdaa8dc9b534ffe28673dd3e81a7e428;hb=HEAD
 . You not have to reinstall MSB or the other services.

For MSB portal please visit http://MSB_IP/iui/microservices/default.html .
Click the msdiscover card. There will be a swagger ui under that page. Call the
API to delete the register information.

2018-02-27 Thread abdelmuhaimen.seaudi
Hi,

I was able to compile the sdk and login using demo/demo, by cloning the
"Amsterdam" version of the code, instead of the latest version.

Now, where can I find the correct URLs for the portal.properties file for the
variables below, how are they defined ? Is there a reference document I can use
?

# Name of java class that implements the OnBoardingApiService interface.
portal.api.impl.class = org.openecomp.portalapp.service.OnBoardingApiServiceImpl

# URL of the Portal where this app is onboarded
ecomp_redirect_url = http://portal.onap.org:8989/onapportal/process_csp

# URL of the ECOMP Portal REST API
ecomp_rest_url = http://portal.onap.org:50580/ecompportal/auxapi

# Applications do not need to run a UEB listener after 1607.
ueb_listeners_enable = false

# UEB Configuration
# If key ueb_listeners_enable is set to false,
# then only the ueb_app_key is required.
ueb_app_key = REPLACE-ME-UEB-APP-KEY-EPSDK-APP-OS

Hi Pavithra R,

You can just delete the register information from msb portal, and re-register
the service to MSB. Please refer to the curl commond in
https://gerrit.onap.org/r/gitweb?p=demo.git;a=blob;f=boot/msb_vm_init.sh;h=0a087b04bdaa8dc9b534ffe28673dd3e81a7e428;hb=HEAD
 . You not have to reinstall MSB or the other services.

For MSB portal please visit http://MSB_IP/iui/microservices/default.html .
Click the msdiscover card. There will be a swagger ui under that page. Call the
API to delete the register information.

DELETE /services/{serviceName}/version/{version}

Hi Harry,

You can follow this instructions:
https://docs.openstack.org/designate/latest/contributor/devstack.html

After installation has been completed/verified, you can configure same VM to
act as a DNS forwarder.

Below is a sample configuration from our lab:

root@designate:~# cat /etc/bind/named.conf.options

include "/etc/bind/rndc.key";
options {
directory "/var/cache/bind";
allow-new-zones yes;
dnssec-validation auto;
listen-on port 53 { 10.203.157.79; };
forwarders {
8.8.8.8;
8.8.4.4;
};
forward only;
allow-query { any; };
recursion yes;
minimal-responses yes;
};
controls {
inet 10.203.157.79 port 953 allow { 10.203.157.79; } keys { "rndc- key"; };
}; root@designate:~#

You'll have to replace 10.203.157.79 with your IP and restart bind service
after updating configuration.

Hope this helps.

Re: [onap-discuss] [SDC][SO] Service Distribution fails with Internal U-EB server error

2018-02-27 Thread Lando,Michael
Hi,
Based on the info you provided it looks like sdc fails when it tries to send
the notification to the dmaap:

In the sdc health check api there are sections this sections describe different
components one of this sections is if sdc has connectivity to dmapp.

https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/SDC+Troubleshooting

Our approach is that since all the SDC functionality (modeling) works without
the connectivity to dmaap we do not fail the health check if we do not have
connectivity to dmaap.

I would check the fallowing:

  1. Does sdc has connectivity to dmaap?
  2. If we have connectivity check as the ops user on the service you are
distribution, under monitoring what was the response we received from the
components regarding the distribution.
  3. Regarding the issue you see in so, it looks like there is a configuration
issue and so is unable to connect to sdc please check the so configuration.

In addition take a look at this this describes the sdc distribution model.
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/SDC+Distribution+model

[onap-discuss] Question on: side-effects of changing edge properties on exisiting AAI relationships

2018-02-27 Thread Pujar, Rashmi
Hello AAI Devs!

I am running into this case where I have some AAI objects created and
relationships between them also created.
And then I modify the edge-property for the relationship between these objects,
apply these changes and create new objects and relationships.
This ends up leaving AAI in a state where I have the old relationships behaving
as per the old edge-properties whereas the new relationships follow the new
property.

For example: When the delete-other-v property is updated as below. It leaves
AAI in a state where the relationships behave differently between the
l-interfaces and logical-link before and after the change.

  {
"from": "l-interface",
"to": "logical-link",
"label": "usesLogicalLink",
"direction": "OUT",
"multiplicity": "Many2Many",
"contains-other-v": "NONE",
"delete-other-v":
"${direction}", --> e.g. update value to NONE instead
"SVC-INFRA": "${direction}",
"prevent-delete": "NONE"
}

Is there any way to migrate all the relationships to follow new edge properties
without having to delete and recreate them?
Any recommendations around best-practices when modifying AAI schema or Edge
rules is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Rashmi

Re: [onap-discuss] Regarding Full ONAP installation

2018-02-27 Thread Michael O'Brien
Ankit,
   Hi, the help page has been adjusted so that the automated scripts can be run
while they are being reviewed (not in the OOM repo yet). The goal of OOM-710
is a one-click HEAT/ARM/CloudFormation template that runs
oom_rancher_install.sh and cd.sh in sequence – this is being worked on –
avoiding any manual DevOps

https://jira.onap.org/browse/OOM-710

   As of today the rancher RI installation for Kubernetes, Helm, Docker is
fully automated to run on Ubuntu 16.04 VM on any cloud provider below
   The cd.sh deployment of ONAP via OOM script is also in review but documented
on the wiki

https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/ONAP+on+Kubernetes
You can run the 2 scripts manually for now in sequence until they are finished
testing on the Heat and Arm templates.

Example End to End Kubernetes based ONAP install and deployment
Scenario: installing Rancher on clean Ubuntu 16.04 64g VM (single collocated
server/host)
Note: amsterdam will require a different onap-parameters.yaml
Either
git clone https://gerrit.onap.org/r/oom
cd oom
git pull https://gerrit.onap.org/r/oom refs/changes/19/32019/6
cd install/rancher
./oom_rancher_install.sh -b master -s 192.168.241.132 -e onap

or using temporary attachments until the gerrit review is done
wget https://jira.onap.org/secure/attachment/7/oom_rancher_setup.sh
./oom_rancher_setup.sh -b master -s 10.12.5.168 -e onap
# wait about 15 min to completion

clone continuous deployment script - until it is merged
wget https://jira.onap.org/secure/attachment/11122/cd.sh
chmod 777 cd.sh
wget
https://jira.onap.org/secure/attachment/11124/aaiapisimpledemoopenecomporg.cer
wget https://jira.onap.org/secure/attachment/11125/onap-parameters.yaml
wget https://jira.onap.org/secure/attachment/11126/aai-cloud-region-put.json
./cd.sh -b master
# wait about 25-60 min depending on the speed of your network pulling docker
images

Hi Ankit,

There are several options available depending on the specific Kubernetes
infrastructure you are using and instructions to create an appropriate
environment if you don’t already have one. This is the wiki page you should
start with to create your environment:
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/ONAP+on+Kubernetes. Note that this is a
one-time effort that can be reused for multiple ONAP (or other) deployments.

Once you have an environment available, follow the instructions in the Quick
Start Guide:
https://wiki.onap.org/display/DW/ONAP+Operations+Manager+Project#ONAPOperationsManagerProject-QuickStartGuide

Hello team,
I went through the documentation on setting up entire ONAP using docker and
kubernetes. But there is not any straight forward procedure given that I can
follow.
Is there any pdf or ppt made by you guys just for the installation of ONAP
using Kubernetes. Please share it with me.
If not, then please update the docs because its very complicated and difficult
to understand. The steps are not specified clearly.
I would really appreciate it if you could share something with me. It would be
a lot helpful.
Thanks and Regards,

Re: [onap-discuss] 答复: [OOM] nameserver issue

2018-02-27 Thread Mars Toktonaliev (Nokia - US/Irving)
Hi Harry,

You can follow this instructions:
https://docs.openstack.org/designate/latest/contributor/devstack.html

After installation has been completed/verified, you can configure same
VM to act as a DNS forwarder.

Below is a sample configuration from our lab:

root@designate:~# cat /etc/bind/named.conf.options

include "/etc/bind/rndc.key";
options {
directory "/var/cache/bind";
allow-new-zones yes;
dnssec-validation auto;
listen-on port 53 { 10.203.157.79; };
forwarders {
8.8.8.8;
8.8.4.4;
};
forward only;
allow-query { any; };
recursion yes;
minimal-responses yes;
};
controls {
inet 10.203.157.79 port 953 allow { 10.203.157.79; } keys { "rndc-
key"; };
};
root@designate:~#

You'll have to replace 10.203.157.79 with your IP and restart bind
service after updating configuration.

Hope this helps.
