Ok, I am going to stick my neck WWAYY out and put my US 2 cents
worth in for any one to flame who want to. Be warned, All return flames

I have been writing Rexx extension libraries since 1990 on multiple
platforms like OS/2, Windows, Linux, etc.
You're not going to get any argument from me...and I'm largely the
idiot responsible for the thing in the first place, with certain
aspects of it dictated by the OS/2 system folks. In addition, the
large dependence on the OS/2 type definitions was a huge mistake for
any platform other than OS/2.
