A handful of libraries, with varying metrics, in the Sitka consortium use RFID - I think all use 3M equipment. At least one libraries has gates, self-check terminals (checkout only - no checkin), and reader pads at staff workstations. The 3M pads have a desktop app that switches the pad bet

We have 90,000+ items, an annual circ of 390,000+, and are using Bibliotheca RFID as our vendor. They resell Tagsys gates and tags, and Feig pad readers.
