Hi Elizabeth,
If the workstation is a regular PC it is possible to add the registration
page to the browser bookmarks and copy the registration page bookmark to
the PC desktop as a desktop icon that users can click.
I guess this is not exactly what you need, however, it might be at least

the display timeout so that it stays on that registration page or did you use
some other work around?

Eventually libraries will embrace these ideas but I think in some areas it
will be a hard fight. Between traditionalistic views and not wanting to
change policies a lot won't. Personally, I think it would be great to be
able to get a valid card for remote services without having to come into a
