We would like to have alert messages on certain circulating items but do
not want to have to override everytime the item is checked in or out.
Is there a way to turn off the override requirement for item alert messages
(that you add to the item record when cataloged?)
Thanks,
Trisha

Under use case #2, how would you then configure the system so that you
could easily remove the item from storage to available in a case where
storage is a temporary status?

Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to specify patron

My personal view is that the status should still go to Available, period.
However, I could see assigning a field that overrides for display
