I can cd to /afs/YYY.EDU/users/X/Y/Z and all its parents perfectly
well. I can issue ls and see what is present.

Hi All,
I'm trying to configure an OpenAFS server on a windows 2003 server.
After setting the configuration with the wizard (first time
configuration), I always get the same error when it tries to setup the
server:
17:11:46 10/13/08: Creating volume root.afs on partition 3 with a quota
of 5000.
Jeffrey,

Cheers,
Isaac

directory and MIT Kerberos 5 server, but it didn't work well.
My goal is to enable both AD user and AFS user to access AFS space. The

No, MESH.UMDNJ.EDU is not on AFS servers. I saw a message talking about
adding -realm in AFS fileserver, but I am not sure how to make it work
for two realms.
Also, can you kinit with the password you're using

Hi Isaac,
Is running a non-windows openafs server a deal-breaker? If you specify
your requirements, then perhaps, we can suggest what might work?
Sincerely,
Jason
