Hi,
Thanks a lot for your contributions to the french translation, and thanks
Alexandre for the spellchecking.
The process for improving translation is described in our documentation[1] and
works via Launchpad's translation system, not with merge proposals/patches.
This allows a proper review
Hi Norman,
I think this should be first discussed inside the community to see who and
if it will be enough people willing to maintain the GTK.
As Fabien said it needs five full time people to maintain the GTK so you

Hi Houssine,

Pieter,
I don't have any idea on the code stability, I never worked on the GTK and
didn't want to neither.
Anyway it's not a matter of minutes for the ones that will work on this. As
I saw in a previous thread in more question on porting functionnality on

+1 for Eric's opinion.
I'am not in favor of maintaining/investing time for the GTK client, but rather
build a web-addons-community project that will bring the needed features in the
webclient. I see here features like: Keyboard shortcut, easy import/export, per
user column order, ...

Hi,
Indeed that's not very practical for translation reviews.
And I suppose uploading the files will not allow for a review on LP
translations either, they'll probably be directly validated.
A few extra remarks:

Hi Jeff ,
I'm not part of the reviewers, but I suppose that the initiave should come
first from the module owner. And in this case validated by the reviewers...
First in first served I would say then for the second one... It should be

For creating a library of functional complementary modules, it is
necessary to assess each and every new module. It will raise the bar for
newcomers. Then again, there is nothing against making a nice set of
complementary modules. But it should not be mandatory.
Some advice: Make such module

Dear OpenERP Contributors and Translators,
A beta version of OpenERP 7.0 was published last week, and the features and
the terms to translate can now be considered frozen.
It is therefore a good time to start working on the translations for OpenERP
7.0/trunk, in order to be able to complete them
