We're moving to 9211-8i - so far no such problems with those. Exporting and
reimporting the pool shouldn't be a problem.

Also, would it be possible to just export the pool, install the new
HBA, and
re-import the pool or is that asking too much? :)
On Tue,
ntpdate once an hour/half hour in cron?, or grep for the message in a
loop and ntpdate if it sees the message?
but that's just the hacker in me ...

Hello,
I'm a member of Kirov OpenSolaris User Group (http://os-solaris.ru/). At
present there is too little OpenIndiana documentation in Russian in the
internet. I guess this fact impedes the increasing of number of users in
Russian-speaking countries, as original text is difficult to understand

That is a fix I have used for Virtual Linux guests, and it works well,
but don't run ntpd as well to avoid the port conflict.

The IT IR firmware both use the same mpt_sas

Hello fellow Solaris geeks,
Does anyone know if this stuff works in OpenIndiana [1]? Or is this
long since deprecated and replaced with something much easier in OI
and/or newer updates of Solaris 10? For example, the CIFS/Samba stuff
mentioned in the 'What's New' file for OI 147 [2] ... Any idea
Most (all?) of the work produced by project Winchester was integrated
long before OpenSolaris gained the Native CIFS service. You're
looking at old resources.
We're working on improving this functionality, (i.e.
https://www.illumos.org/issues/1121)
but don't have any public information to share
