OpenHoosiers, As with Gary, my installing gvfs corrected all ramifications of the bug: ejecting a usb drive, accessing the trash and computer, and using alacarte to add launchers to the application menu. Interestingly, before I installed gvfs, I found that ... pkg verify -v gnome-vfs ...
