from all of my prior research, RDP is the best protocol, but most implementations on Linux/Unix suck big time. If you're looking for a pay for product, you might be better off looking at a full blown Windows Server, or a Cisco product. I just wish that Sun had released the code for the SunRay

It was a fair number of years ago, and I only did it as a project to see if it would work, but I got "NoMachine" working on Solaris 10 and on an early OpenIndiana, using the freeNX code, that I can't seem to find online any more. I even managed to compile the NX client for it using another

Hi Marc Atheros AR9k series cards are unfortunately not supported yet in OpenIndiana/Illumos Atheros up until and including 8k is supported by default and by freenicdrivers. Atheros drivers are available in Freebsd and Linux but the driver has not been ported/updated yet. Also See:
