Hi all,
Based on code that was posted on the forum
(http://forums.openlp.org/discussion/2544/chords-in-openlp) I've created a
branch which introduces support for chords in the Chord Pro. I've created a new
chord-webview where the chords are shown, see the link under the remote
settings. I've

Hi all,
More than a month ago I announced here that I'm working on adding support
for chords in OpenLP (read that email here:
https://lists.openlp.io/pipermail/openlp-dev/2016-June/93.html). Now
I've had some time to progress and I'd like to get some feedback from you
guys.
The current
Hi all,
I think Chris' "lightbulb moment", is exactly what we want to do - use
WinInet to connect to the https sites we connect to, either in response to
the SSL error, or to prevent it. Note that is isn't just an issue in the
FTW. We also have this issue in the SongSelect integration, and
test QtRichText component.

This looks really good, but unfortunately the QtRichText component converts
the div-tags into p-tags which forces a linebreak after every end-tag. It

should run fine you already are able to
run OpenLP.
I hope you can use it :)

Hi!
I agree that using reveal.js would be great!
Regarding playing videos in webengine, I would recommend that we look into
how video support is on various platforms... IIRC some linux distributions
stripped out the video support from webengine...

Hi,
As Phill has mentioned on IRC, this can be solved by specifying args as
keywords. This patch fixes it: https://bin.snyman.info/47cx

Hi,
I don't have anything new to contribute with, so I just want to mention
which variants I prefer:
"Overflow Split" instead of the current "Optional Split" since I think that
describes more precisely what it actually does. The new forced split should
simply be called "Forced Split".

Hi Raoul,
I'm sad to hear this, but totally understandable. I've always liked the way
the support system worked, but it has always been a bit short on
ressources... Hopefully it can be reenabled at a later point. And hopefully
we can still get some useful information from bug reports.

Hi Samuel,
While the askbot system looks nice, I think it is targeted for larger
communities. We do already have the forums where users can ask questions,
and I don't think we should use resources on setting up and maintaining new
software...

Since there seems to be a spam-problem with Raouls email to the list I'm

Hi everyone,
We, the core developers, have decided to have a team call to discuss the

Hi everyone,
Thanks for joining us today!
I'm sorry for the technical issues with Jitsi. I've only heard good
things about them, so the struggles we had took me by surprise. We have
a few other options (Nextcloud video, etc), so we'll
Hi all!
This is a friendly reminder that the team call is today (Saturday the 18th

Hi Donald,
All features, including presentation, should work when running as you did.
Are you running 64-bit python on windows? If so you should switch to 32-bit
instead.
Unfortunately none of the developers currently have a working
windows-build-setup. We have a CI setup on appveyor which we
Hi all,
While looking into bug #1677037 (Powerpoint is slow to load) and trying to
add thumbnails to the service files I noticed some issues in the way the
service files are currently handled.
To illustrate the issues let me provide a few examples:

Hi,
Hunspell for Windows can be downloaded from
https://github.com/gromnitsky/hunspell-windows/releases
I'm guessing it can be installed anywhere since it is a zip-bundle.
Regarding pyenchant see my comments inline below.

Hi,
The test_pylint is not as old as you think and is actually responsible for
linting on Jenkins on the old setup... Also it should only run if you
target that script specifically, so typically not on local setups. If the
new CI lint solution is superior it is ok to remove it.
The test_bzr_tags
Hi Bastian,
You're right in that the CI infrastructure offered on gitlab.com only
supports linux.
We're gonna go with appveyor for windows and Simon and Raoul got a gitlab
runner working on Raouls Mac.
As far as I know CircleCI does not support gitlab, but maybe there is a
workaround. I mean,

Hi Phill,
I hope it is still relevant to answer this... I'm a bit slow...
There is no doubt that using a ":" as a data-delimiter in a string is
somewhat hacky - I should know, since I introduced it...
I think using a DB would be the right approach, and it could help us in
creating folders and
