I have a deployment wherein it would be convenient to continue to
monitor the availability of certain nodes but where presenting them on
the list of "Nodes with Outages" is not really desirable. I am
interested in adding support to my installation for flagging certain
nodes to not appea
If you've got a branch based on 1.6, 1.8, or master, please pull and
merge to make sure you're up-to-date. I just ran an automated tool over
the whole source tree which fixes javadoc errors, and it affects a lot
of files.

I'm not sure what traction this might get, but one of the things I
think might drive adoption is a GUI to configure custom service
discovery and data collection.
For example:
Browsing the available mib tree on a device and selecting oids of
interest for collection, or browsing an m
Replace all cli editing of basic xml configuration files for polling,
discovery, capsd, etc to a simple UI will make a huge jump. But after a
first pass it will seem very much like a feature missing NMS since it will
be half baked. I think replacing cli editing of xml files with the UI needs
