Hi
Does anyone have an idea of how to get NIC statistics on SNV?
When trying to add support for a driver, e.g. vr0 you grep for
vr.0.vr0 in the output of dumpkstat.se
But the closest that can be found is link.0.vr0.
Wow.
I decided to update my mainboard BIOS. Rebooted then ran blogbench again just
out of curiosity:
Final score for writes: 460
Final score for reads : 33603

I can't believe this is real:

It is VERY cool though. Two thumbs up to Larry Ellison and McNealy and co.

I was reading this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amiga
and I came up with one possible (albeit unlikely) theory. The wikipedia
article says the following:
The Amiga is not limited to solely the 68k CPU architecture; although
Commodore never shipped one, it is possible to install a PowerPC
Also note this:
The Amiga is able to emulate other computer platforms ranging from many 8-bit
systems such as the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Nintendo Game Boy,
Nintendo Entertainment System, Apple II and the TRS-80, up to platforms such as
the IBM PC, Apple Macintosh and Atari ST.

Has anybody heard of an old project that Oracle and Sun worked together on that
was called Raw Iron:
http://news.cnet.com/Oracles-Raw-Iron-plan-not-fully-forged/2100-1001_3-219129.html
I wonder if we're going to get a similar Oracle-Solaris powered, pre-tuned and
pre-configured server
It must be fake.

Hello,
The previous thread reminds me of one surprising fact I've been

Now I love opensolaris and I have SXCE 64bit installed on my home server

mode). Zfs of course.

What build of SXCE are you using?
What do you see as output from these commands:
uname -a
cat /etc/release
SXCE and OpenSolaris are both unfinished works in progress and the
performance changes radically from one build to another. Read this thread:
